Police say two small explosions at Delhis main mosque on Friday was a terrorist act. The police commissioner of Delhi KK Paul indicated terrorist involvement after a meeting with the Home Secretary VK Duggal. Paul added that a breakthrough in investigations is expected soon. But immediately after the blasts police ruled out the involvement of terrorists. The explosions triggered by crude devices went off inside Jama Masjid during evening prayers, which injured 12 people.

Teen gang-raped in Delhi

New Delhi : A 17-year-old girl was Wednesday raped the national capital by five adolescents, four of whom have been arrested, police said. According to the police, the accused and the victim knew one another well. The incident took place in the Kabir Basti area of northwest Delhi. New Delhi : The owner of a hotel in a posh south Delhi locality and 13 dance bar girls performing there were arrested after police raided its premises in the wee hours on Sunday, police said.
