WTO mini ministerial meet soon: Nath

Commerce Minister Kamal Nath is back in India after talks trade talks at Geneva ended in a deadlock as US and EU refused to cut trade distorting subsidies and tariffs.

The minister however said that talks will continue and a mini ministerial attended by trade ministers of some key countries may be held by the end of this month.

But with negotiating positions being very divergent, a common ground looks increasingly difficult to achieve.

I hope that there is another meeting by the end of this month, said Nath on his arrival.
