Chennai : A Jet Airways air hostess and her boyfriend, a call centre staffer who police say is from Delhi, were found dead in their apartment in Chennai this evening.
Police are examining the possibility that the boy, Jayant, could have murdered 24-year-old Shilpa, hailing from Bangalore, and committed suicide later.
The two must have been dead for about four days as the bodies were found in a putrefied condition in the flat at Valmiki Nagar in Chennais Thiruvanmiyur area, police said.

NEW DELHI: Two double murders rocked Delhi on Thursday. While in the first case, an insurance agent and his assistant were found murdered in their home at Shaheen Park in south Delhi, in the other incident, two labourers were stabbed to death in Dabri.
In the first case, the victims were identified as Akhtar Afindi (50) and Jamshed Alam (32). Akhtar was an ICICI Prudential agent and Jamshed was his assistant. He had been living in Akhtars home for the past six months. While Akhtar was found dead in the kitchen, Jamsheds body was found in the bathroom.

Foul play is suspected, but it is not a certainty. Pramod Mahajans other man Friday Harish rushed the two to the hospital.

New Delhi : WITH 443 cases of cholera being reported in the Capital so far this year, the Delhi government has started a drive to crack down on the sale of contaminated food and water.
In the 85 raids conducted by the Delhi government in the week ending June 9, 23,691 kg of contaminated food and 30,400 of sub-standard ice was seized, he said.
A total of 997 water trolleys were checked and action was taken against 163 of them. Action was also taken against 18 sugarcane crushers and 255 food stalls.
