The Delhi High Court today dismissed the petition by the Anil Ambani-owned Reliance Airport Developers challenging the governments decision to award contracts for the modernisation of the Delhi and Mumbai airports to GMR-Frafort and GVK-ACS, respectively.
There is in our opinion complete transparency in the decision leading to the modification of the Request for Proposal (RFP) in the tender and uniformity in its application to the bidders who qualified in the process, said the 127-page order by a Division Bench comprising Justice Tirath Singh Thakur and Justice BN Chaturvedi.

New Delhi : Holding DDA responsible for the delay in the process of regularisation of unauthorized colonies in the Capital, Delhi government today sought a survey report on such localities within 15 days.
Reviewing the process of regularisation of unauthorized colonies, Delhi Urban Development Minister A K Walia directed DDA to submit a report on survey of 228 such residential localities under its jurisdiction.
Observing that non-cooperation of DDA is delaying regularisation of unauthorised colonies, Walia during the meeting expressed deep concern over the lukewarm response of DDA in submitting a report even after repeated requests made by Delhi government,
With the Delhi Development Authority raking in moolah through sale of land in the Capital, the Delhi Government on Wednesday demanded that it be given 25 per cent share of the revenue generated from the commercial sale of land and property in the city by the housing agency.

Responding to the shutdown call given by various trade bodies, shops in Greater Kailash, Karol Bagh, Lajpat Nagar, South Extension, Moti Nagar, Patel Nagar, Rajendra Nagar, Naraina, Rohini remained closed.
Other markets like Pitampura, Paharganj, Green Park, Shahdara, Nehru Place, Hauz Khas, Uttam Nagar, Mayur Vihar, Gandhi Nagar Patparganj, Connaught Place and Chandni Chowk also downed their shutters.

New Delhi : With medicos in the capital going on strike as part of their anti-quota agitation, Delhi government has cancelled the leave of doctors in its hospitals and drawn up an action plan to ensure that the intensive care, emergency, casualty and trauma services remain unaffected.
In view of the strike, we have decided to cancel the leave of doctors and it has also been decided that no leave will be granted to doctors in hospitals under Delhi government for the time being, said Health Secretary D S Negi on Monday.
