Water Sports: A multi-sports and leisure complex has been created by Delhi Tourism at Bhalswa Lake, situated at Delhi’s north-eastern edge. This offers facilities for boating in pedal boats, kayaks, canoes and speed boats. Keen anglers can also indulge in fishing. Hovercraft and water scooters are also available here. Pedal boats at reasonable rates are available at the Hari Nagar, India Gate, and Purana Quila and Naini lakes. Special training programmes in kayaking and canoeing are organized at all the lakes.

New Delhi: WITH Uttar Pradesh failing to provide water to the Capital yet again, the Delhi government today approached the Centre for immediate intervention to tackle the water crisis.
We are making all efforts to get water. Even UP has not refused to give water to us. I spoke to the Union Power Ministry again to release water from Tehri dam, said Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit.
She said UP had run out of excuses for not releasing water to Delhi since there was enough water in the Tehri dam.
